State Employee Day 2014 003
Chapter volunteers were right in the thick of things Thursday at the Missouri State Employee Recognition Day on the Capitol’s south lawn.
The chapter information table was in the back of the pack near the Capitol steps and if you didn’t know where to look, it took a trip around the event to find them.
But no matter.
They, like all the other entities at the event, had plenty of visitors.
Hundreds of state employees stopped by the table. Many of them registered to win a personal Red Cross first aid kit. Kelly Lister, who works for the Department of Revenue, was the lucky winner.
State employees also made plenty of comments about the chapter’s replica ERV (emergency response vehicle), built by volunteer Carl Nappier.
